Olive Young N Seongsu represents the newest evolution of South Korea’s most influential beauty and health retailer. If you’ve heard of Olive Young before, you’ll probably know it as the go-to destination for Korean cosmetics, skincare, and lifestyle essentials. Back in the day, standalone “road shop” brands like Nature Republic, Innisfree, and Etude House in Myeongdong were the hotspots for K-beauty shopping but now, you can find almost every trending K-beauty product all under one roof at Olive Young.
With so many branches scattered across Seoul, it can be hard to choose which one to visit. So for those of you wondering where to go, I’ll be sharing my experience at the biggest store in Seoul, Olive Young N Seongsu (with the extra “N”) and its exclusive members’ lounge.

Inside Olive Young N Seongsu
The Biggest Olive Young in Seoul
Olive Young N Seongsu shows the brand’s ambition to redefine a K-beauty store by making a five-floor megastore of beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and pop culture; it’s almost like a mini lifestyle mall dedicated to K-beauty and trends. The scale alone is striking: spanning over 4,000 square meters over five floors, it stands as the largest Olive Young in Korea as of 2025.
Zones & Brands in Olive Young N Seongsu

Once inside, the first 3 floors are organized into clearly defined zones by theme and product type. The first floor or ‘N Playground’ is where you find the Olive Young MD/souvenir shop, limited-time promotions and event zones. The second floor focuses more on beauty and makeup. You’ll find a wide range of products along with several specialty zones like:
- K-Trend Zone: featuring K-pop albums and trendy K-culture items
- Hapa Kristin: well-known contact lens brand famously modeled by Jang Wonyoung
- Makeup Studio & Touch-Up Bar: for mini makeovers and recommendations
- Men’s Brow Bar: offering professional brow styling and shaping consultations.

I actually wanted to try the Quick Touch-Up service here (a 15-minute consultation where you can choose between lip, eye, or base makeup advice), but the on-site reservations were temporarily on hold during my visit.

The third floor leans into skincare, wellness, inner-beauty, and lifestyle with key areas like:
- Wellness & self-care zones: supplements, beauty devices, inner-beauty items
- Skin Fit Studio: for skincare consultations or diagnostics
- Point of View: a premium lifestyle brand in Seongsu-dong well known for its carefully selected stationery items

Olive Young Members Lounge
While I spent some tine browsing the first three floors, the main reason for my visit was to check out the members’ lounge on the 4th floor. The path to it was subtle and somewhat hidden: at the end of the third-floor hallway there’s a staircase on the left that leads you to the lounge.

Lounge Access (Who Can Get In)
The members’ lounge is not open to everyone. Instead, access is limited to Gold members (who have spent over 1,000,000 KRW in six months) and for Olive Young Hyundai Card holders. At the entrance you have to show your membership status (on the Olive Young app or by logging into the online mall). The staff will then check and mark your pass before entry.

Usage is also limited: membership tiers are updated monthly, and eligible members receive one lounge visit per month. For each visit, the benefit covers up to 4 people (the eligible member plus up to 3 guests), and each person can order 1 drink and 1 dessert.
Wait Time & Registration
CatchTable shows the real-time waiting status, but the actual registration has to be done in person. I visited on a Sunday, planning to do what many call an “open-run” (arriving right when the store opens). FYI while the store opens at 10am, the lounge only opens at 12pm. When I arrived at around 12:10pm, there were already a few people ahead of me and I got assigned the 3rd number in line.

Because I had lunch plans nearby, I decided to go back a few spots in line. CatchTable allows you to use the push-back function for up to twice, and each time it moves you to the last spot in the queue. I used both push-backs, which moved me to the 8th in the order. In the end the wait was about an hour (I was called in at around 1:20pm), which actually worked out perfectly for grabbing lunch and browsing the shops on the lower floors.

Menu & What I Ordered
Olive Young N Seongsu VIP Lounge Menu
The lounge menu is simple but quite creative. The drink selection covers the essentials like Americano and cold brew (but no decaf option), along with some more unique options like the Collagen Ampoule Tea, which subtly reflects the brand’s beauty & wellness identity. The dessert lineup was also quite interesting: an Earl Grey ‘Poundation‘ cake plated with colorful cream accents, a Berry Basket Tart presented in a tiny basket shape, and a Honey Tiramisu topped with a real honeycomb. The overall theme focuses on simple ingredients presented in an artistic way, matching the curated vibe of the store and the lounge.

The Berry Basket Tart
The tart came beautifully arranged with fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries on top, and I was actually quite surprised by how fresh the fruits were. The tart shell had a soft, slightly crumbly base that held its shape but broke gently with a fork. The combination of bright, juicy berries and the light cream underneath was refreshing and well-balanced.

Honey Tiramisu
The Honey Tiramisu comes with a generous amount of smooth mascarpone cheese on a thin layer of crumble at the bottom, topped with a honeycomb piece. The mascarpone layer makes up almost the entire cup, so the flavor leaned much more toward a creamy mousse than a classic tiramisu. With no coffee/cocoa powder or ladyfingers to balance the sweetness, the honey flavor felt a bit too strong for my taste.

Vibe & Atmosphere
The seating arrangement felt generous and comfortable with plush sofas, widely spaced tables, and just the right amount of privacy. And despite being an exclusive lounge, the ambiance was relaxed and inviting. Dozens of plant pots were placed around the space, creating a refreshing atmosphere, which softened the interior and contrasted nicely with the busy retail floors below.

Overall
Olive Young N Seongsu Lounge in Summary
📍 4F of Olive Young N Seongsu
⏰ 12pm–9pm, last order at 8pm
⏳ Max 2 hours per visit
👥 Up to 4 people (includes 1 drink + 1 dessert per person)
💎 For Gold Olive Members & Olive Young Hyundai Card holders only
🔁 Real-time wait list + number of teams visible on CatchTable
Considering the long wait time and the exclusivity, I wouldn’t say the members’ lounge is a must-visit. But if you have the Gold membership (or plan to shop enough to become eligible), it’s definitely worth stopping by for a comfy escape from the busy store. And even without lounge access, the first three floors of Olive Young N Seongsu alone make the visit worthwhile. The variety of brands and the dynamic zones will give you a lot to see and explore, especially if you want to find out about the most recent trends of K-skincare & makeup.
