From Yeouido Station to IFC Mall
Located on the ground floor of IFC Mall, 3 Birds is easily accessible from Yeouido Station, connected directly through an underground walkway. Once you arrive at Yeouido Station, head toward Exit 3, and you’ll soon find signs leading you to the underground walkway to IFC Mall—just follow the escalators and the connecting corridor. If you want a visual guide, I’ve previously uploaded a video walking from Yeouido Station to IFC Mall and The Hyundai Seoul—feel free to check that out in my earlier post!
Navigating within IFC mall can be a little confusing on your first visit. The complex is split into 3 buildings: One IFC, Two IFC, and Three IFC. And the basement floors aren’t labeled B1 or B2 like in most malls—they’re called L1 and L2 instead. The floor that connects to Yeouido Station is L2, and 3 Birds is on the ground floor(GL) so keep that in mind when following signs inside the mall.

Another point to note is that 3 Birds is located outside the main IFC Mall complex, on the ground level(GL) of the Three IFC building. From the L2 level, take the escalator up to GL, exit the mall, and head toward the Three IFC tower. When you approach the building, don’t be confused if you don’t see a “3 Birds” sign. What you’ll likely notice is the signage for Samgeori Butcher’s (삼거리푸줏간)—a popular Korean BBQ spot that shares the same space. Don’t hesitate; just walk right into Samgeori Butcher’s and you’ll find yourself in 3 Birds.

A Former YG Republique Concept
3 Birds originated as part of YG Republique, a lifestyle dining project by YG Entertainment in collaboration with renowned branding consultant Hee-young Noh. Alongside other brands like Samgeori Butcher’s (삼거리푸줏간), YG Foods and Noh aimed to create a unique cultural space that blends food, music, and design. As of 2023 3 Birds has branched off from YG and now operates independently, but it still combines the brand’s original aesthetic roots with a fresh, elevated dining experience.
Menu & Pricing
The menu at 3 Birds emphasizes fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. Their offerings include a range of open sandwiches, salads, and pastas. Prices are reasonable, with sandwiches ranging between ₩10,000 to ₩16,000 and pastas in the ₩20,000 range. Drinks (including house coffees and herbal teas) seem to be on a pricier side, usually ranging from ₩5,000–₩7,000.

What I Ordered
Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich
Let’s start with the Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich – my personal favorite from 3 Birds. Although it’s labeled as a sandwich, it’s actually more like a grilled panini with its warm pressed bread. The ingredients may look simple but I love the classic combination of thickly sliced fresh mozzarella and ripe tomato, brought together by a creamy mayo-based sauce, which adds just the right amount of richness to balance the freshness.

This sandwich also comes with a handful of thin-cut fries, completing the meal by adding a satisfying crunch that pairs well with the soft texture of the sandwich. The fries also make the overall portion of this dish pretty generous especially considering the ₩13,000 price. I personally would’ve preferred the option to swap the fries for a lighter side like salad.
Avocado Crunch Open Sandwich
Next up was the Avocado Crunch Open Sandwich. A thick slice of whole grain bread generously spread with cream cheese, then topped with fresh avocado, arugula, bacon, granola, and a soft-boiled egg. Visually stunning and nutritionally dense, it’s a dish that feels both wholesome and indulgent.

One thing that stood out was the amount of sweetly glazed granola and nuts—it actually leaned more toward a “nuts & arugula” sandwich than a classic avocado toast. The caramelized coating on the nuts makes the overall taste profile very sweet so I think it’s a dish best shared with a friend, especially for those who don’t typically go for sweet brunch items.
Vibe & Atmosphere

One of 3 Birds’ standout features is the ambiance. High ceilings, large glass windows, and lots of natural light give the place a greenhouse café vibe. Lush greenery surrounds the seating area, creating a calm and relaxing contrast to the busy mall environment. If you’re looking for an Instagram-worthy brunch spot in IFC mall, you should definitely check this place out.

Although it shares the space with Samgeori Butcher’s, the zones are distinct enough that you won’t feel out of place whether you’re there for brunch. The dual setup makes it a convenient destination for various occasions throughout the day. In fact, while 3 Birds is a popular brunch destination, Samgeori Butcher’s attracts many businesspeople working in Yeouido as a go-to spot for after-work dinners.
3.8/5
Overall
3 Birds is a great place to stop by for a casual brunch while shopping at IFC Mall or The Hyundai Seoul. With its bright, greenhouse-like ambiance, hearty portions, and convenient location, it strikes the perfect balance between style and comfort. I recommend grabbing a window seat for the best brunch experience with sunlight and greenery. Although it’s no longer directly operated by YG Entertainment, 3 Birds still carries the stylish, trendy charm that once defined YG’s expedition into lifestyle branding. So if you’re a K-pop lover—especially one who follows the YG label—you’ll enjoy the subtle essence of YG’s signature colors infused into the space and concept.
