Seongsu cafe lovers have probably heard about And Meal as one of the best sandwich shops in Seoul. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Apgujeong, And Meal Cheongdam (앤드밀 청담점) is a hidden gem for brunch lovers seeking quality sandwiches in Seoul. The charming café offers a diverse selection of sandwiches, from fresh cold sandwiches to hot-pressed paninis. And Meal’s well-crafted menu and cozy ambiance make it a must-try spot in the Apgujeong area. If you’re looking for a new brunch place to explore, this might just be your next favorite find!

And Meal (&meal)
And Meal first made its debut in Seongsu-dong, quickly rising to fame among brunch and sandwich lovers for its high-quality ingredients and expertly crafted flavors. The café became so popular that it often had long waits even on weekdays. Thanks to its growing reputation, And Meal has since expanded, and as of February 2025, it now boasts 4 locations across Korea: Seongsu, Cheongdam, Kwangju, and Busan.
Adding to its appeal, Seventeen’s Mingyu recently visited the café and shared his experience on Instagram. And rumors have it that NCT was also spotted here, proving that even K-pop idols choose And Meal as their go-to brunch spot. For all brunch enthusiasts or fans of gourmet sandwiches out there, you must visit this place to check if it’s worth the hype!

Menu

And Meal offers a thoughtfully curated menu specializing in sandwiches, with a focus on its unique and original combination of ingredients. Each dish ranged from around 12,000 KRW to 15,000 KRW, which I found to be reasonably priced, especially considering the high prices around the Apgujeong area.

The standout dish is undoubtedly the Basil Cream Sweet Potato Grilled Sandwich, a signature menu item that has gained popularity for its perfect balance of sweet and creamy flavors. Another highlight of And Meal is its seasonal menu, which features limited-time dishes incorporating the freshest ingredients of the season. When I visited in February 2025, they were offering a Strawberry Sandwich and a Strawberry Salad, both celebrating the peak of Korea’s winter strawberry season.
What I Ordered
1.Strawberry Peanut Ricotta Sandwich

The Strawberry Peanut Ricotta Sandwich was definitely worth trying. Unlike my expectations, the peanut butter wasn’t spread on the bread—it was mixed with ricotta cheese, creating a nutty and creamy texture that paired well with the sweet and juicy whole strawberries. The strawberry jam added an extra layer of sweetness, balancing out the flavors and enhancing the freshness of the fruit. The combination of crunchy bread, rich peanut ricotta, and refreshing strawberries made each bite refreshing.
2.Strawberry Salad Pasta

The Strawberry Salad Pasta wasn’t the most unique dish. It featured al dente penne pasta tossed in a light, tangy oriental dressing, completed by fresh strawberries, cucumbers, mozzarella balls and paramasan cheese. While the use of strawberries was interesting and added a refreshing touch, it felt more like an appetizer or side dish rather than a standout main. The flavors were light and pleasant, but I wouldn’t say this is a must-try dish at And Meal.
Vibe & Atmosphere

Despite its quiet location, all tables at And Meal Cheongdam were filled when I visited on a Sunday. Although the space wasn’t particularly large—featuring 3-4 tables for two, a single table for four, and bar seats facing the kitchen—it felt inviting and intimate rather than cramped. The café had a warm and cozy atmosphere, with wooden floors and interiors that enhanced its home-like vibe. The combination of a small yet thoughtfully arranged seating area and the buzz of diners enjoying their meals made it a comfortable and tranquil brunch spot.

3.8/5
Overall
I defintely recommend And Meal Cheongdam for anyone in search of unique and delicious sandwiches in Seoul. The cafe offers a more quiet and tranquil atmosphere compared to the original store in Seongsu, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy their meal away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its seasonal dishes and signature sandwiches, it’s an ideal spot for brunch lovers looking for something fresh and healthy. FYI if you’re in the area and craving a heartier sandwich, I also recently reviewed a great nearby Japanese sando spot that’s worth checking out.
