When it comes to outlet shopping near Seoul, few places combine luxury and convenience as well as Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo. Located just a 15-minute drive from Gimpo International Airport, this premium outlet has become a favorite among both local and international travelers. From luxury labels to sportswear, the outlet offers a well-rounded experience for all shoppers. In this post I’ll share my detailed review, covering everything from the stores I visited (including Burberry, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, and MaxMara) to the food court you shouldn’t miss.

Getting to Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo
Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo’s prime location near Gimpo International Airport makes it an appealing destination for both Seoulites and tourists. Like Gimpo Lotte Mall I reviewed last time, this outlet is also just about a 10 to 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, which makes it a perfect option when you’re looking for something to do near Gimpo before or after a flight.
If you’re going from Seoul, you could use public transportation but I highly recommend driving or taking a cab if you can. Public transport connections to the outlet are somewhat inconvenient, requiring multiple transfers and a fair amount of walking. In contrast, driving from central Seoul takes about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic and the outlet also offers free parking.
Navigating Your Way around Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo
East Zone, West Zone, and Tower Zone
Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo is divided into 3 main sections: the East Zone, the West Zone, and the Tower Zone. The East Zone houses most of the luxury and high-end fashion brands with a food court on the third floor. The West Zone has a more trendy feel with casual fashion brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, and New Balance.

Across the bridge from the West Zone is the Tower Zone, a tall building that holds several floors of outdoor brands, restaurants and car park. It may definitely be confusing to navigate your way around the huge mall especially if you’re a first timer—so I highly recommend using the mobile map to find your way around.
Must-Visit Brands at Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo
While Yeoju Premium Outlet is more known for its wide selection of luxury brands and spacious layout, Gimpo Hyundai Premium Outlet stands out for its convenient proximity to Seoul and its family-friendly vibe. I also had a mini family outing at the Gimpo outlet during the golden holiday week in May, and made sure to check out some of the best shops.
1.Burberry
My first stop was Burberry, located on the first floor of the East Zone. The store had a perfect collection of the classic trench coats, puffer jackets, and signature handbags. While Burberry is famously known for its scarves and handbags, I felt that this store focused more on clothing—especially outerwear and shirts.

My favorite piece from the shop was the reversible check nylon puffer jacket, priced at 1,395,000 KRW — a significant markdown from its original price of 2,790,000 KRW. The cropped length gives it a stylish feel that would match anything from jeans for a casual look to a sleek skirt for something more romantic. Its unique reversible design also gives you the versatility to switch between the bold, iconic Burberry check and the chic, solid navy.

2.Coach
Next I wandered over to Coach, where the “Tabby Shop” welcomes you with the trendy Tabby collection, a now-iconic line of small, structured bags known for their pillowy silhouettes and signature C-logo hardware. The Tabby bags come in a wide variety of colors, fabrics, and styles, reflecting Coach’s effort to appeal to a wider generation. The rest of the store offered an impressive range of totes, crossbody bags, wallets, and shoes featuring both timeless leather staples to trendy and playful designs.

3.Polo Ralph Lauren

Polo Ralph Lauren is always one of the most crowded shops in this outlet, filled with shoppers eager to hunt down their favorite preppy pieces at discounted prices. Inside, the shop offered a wide selection of Polo classics including the iconic shirts, button-downs, and the beloved cable knit sweaters all available in a rainbow of colors.

4.Nike
Of course, no outlet shopping trip is complete without a visit to Nike, another one of the busiest and most popular stores at Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo. FYI Nike is located on the first floor of the West Zone, while its rival Adidas is placed on the second floor of the East Zone—a strategic positioning that lets each brand shine on its own neighborhood. If you’re a sportswear lover, I definitely recommend visiting both stores to compare the deals, but on this trip I focused on Nike where they were running an extra markdown promotion on top of the outlet’s already reduced prices: an additional 15% off any purchase over 150,000 KRW.

The store was absolutely buzzing with energy. Shoppers crowded the aisles, hunting for discounted sneakers, sportswear and accessories. There was also a long line at the counter but thanks to all the super helpful staff, the checkout process ran smoothly.

5.MaxMara
One of the highlights of my visit was MaxMara, where I tried on a few of their signature coats. Maybe because I visited in May (which is already late spring/early summer in Korea), the store focused more on lighter clothing but they still carried quite a few classic staples from shorter jackets to elegant long coats, typically priced in the high 1,000,000 KRW range.

Among the items I tried on, I found two favorites. The first was the Supremo short jacket, a structured yet refined short coat with a mandarin collar and flap pockets. The second was the Livia virgin wool coat with side slit pockets and a detachable belt. For both pieces, MaxMara’s signature camel tone paired so well with the sleek tailoring, giving them a timeless charm that would elevate any autumn look with a graceful touch.

Food Court

The food court on the third floor of the East zone is a haven for refilling the calories you burnt after all the shopping—you will find everything from Asian fusion to traditional Korean dishes. My parents and I tried 3 different places and here’s our honest take on each.
1.Camon (까몬)
I ordered a shrimp bahn mi sandwich from Camon, a Vietnamese-inspired eatery known for its vibrant flavors and ingredients. The sandwich arrived on a perfectly crisp rice baguette, filled with fried whole shrimp, pickled vegetables, and fried egg. I love how Camon has this non-meat option of bahn mi—which looks simple but is filled with fresh and zesty ingredients.

2.Momoya (모모야)
My dad was craving something heartier and ordered a hire katsu meal from Momoya, a Japanese spot specializing in pork cutlets. The thick pork fillet was juicy and tender, with an incredibly crunchy golden-brown exterior. The meal set came with rice, miso soup, mini udon, and cabbage salad, all neatly arranged on a tray.

3.Gossine Makguksu (고씨네 동해막국수)
My mom tried the avocado buckwheat roll from Gossine Makguksu, a Korean restaurant specializing in cold buckwheat noodles. The roll combined creamy avocado with a thin omelet and buckwheat noodles, all wrapped in seaweed like sushi and sprinkled with diced almonds. It was light and refreshing, but was definitely not a filling option so I recommend this as a side dish to pair with something else.

A Hidden Marry-Go-Round Photospot

If you want to take a memorable picture at the outlet, make sure to stop by the marry-go-round on the third floor of the East Zone. This hidden carousel is not just for kids but has become a beloved photo backdrop for couples and families. While it wasn’t lit up when I visited during the day, it will definitely have a magical glow-up when the lights are fully illuminated in the evening. FYI the outlet also regularly holds fireworks at night, adding yet another reason to plan your visit for the later hours.
Overall
Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo offers a premium shopping experience that goes beyond just discount-hunting. With its thoughtful layout of top-tier brands, diverse food options, and charming photo spots, it’s one of the best outlet malls near Seoul and definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for what to do near Gimpo Airport. My advice is to drive or take a cab and save yourself plenty of time & energy to explore all the stores.
